The below pictures show the result of cavity tutorial detailed in OpenFoam userguide.
$FOAM RUN/tutorials/incompressible/icoFoam/cavity
A few commands/things are used to create the plots.
1. touch casename.foam in the terminal to create OpenFoam file to be read by Paraview.
2. In Paraview 5.0, after reading your case, click "filter""search", type in "transform", to choose the
mechanism of translating your geometry/plots.

3. Some utilities can be used to do extra calculations such as to calculate Ux from velocity field.
General format command:
foamCalc <calcType> <fieldname>
eg: foamCalc components U
4. To create line plots for Ux across two points, click "filter""search", type in "plot over line", to
choose the mechanism of plotting lines.
5. The font size, legend properties and etc. can be changed by clicking the "advanced properties"
as shown below:

Below is the picture generated across the two points (0.05, 0, 0.005) and (0.05, 0.1, 0.005) for both refined and original mesh.
(note that though the refined mesh is below the original mesh by using transforming method explained above, the two points coordinate should still be the same.)
